ICS Summer Academy 2024!

We invite talented high school students to participate in our ICS Summer Academy, which will be held this summer in person on our beautiful UCI campus.

After the successful inaugural offerings of the Academy in Summer 2022 and 2023, we are pleased to announce that, based on feedback from parents, guardians, and students, we have added two new courses for Summer 2024. Students can apply for admission and register for up to two of four offerings: Data Analytics; Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning; Cryptography & Security; and Software Engineering.

Led by distinguished UCI professors and exceptional UCI undergrad and grad students, you’ll explore new cutting-edge areas of ICS while immersing yourself in a collegiate environment surrounded by incredible mentors.

A 10% discount applies to returning participants, 2nd-course registration, and UCI staff. For inquiries, please email icssummeracademy@uci.edu

If you need any further convincing, please read the testimonials from last summer and let it be noted that two of the participating student groups from Summer 2022 submitted their DATA course Capstone project for the IUSD Science fair. They were ranked “First” and were selected to advance to the county level.

A panel of industry experts will be convened for each course to talk to the students and address their questions on careers and their experiences in the field of ICS.
